Why is it so important to have your eyes checked and how often should it be done?
We recommend having your eyes checked at least once a year. Taking care of your eyes is part of taking care of your overall health. Many illnesses show their earliest signs in the eyes, and many diseases can affect your vision. While you're being examined, your eye doctor will look for signs of: Hypertension, Diabetes, Headache, High Cholesterol, Multiple Sclerosis, Glaucoma, and Cataracts - just to name a few. We recommend you begin having your eyes checked once a year at the age of 6.
Do I still have to have an exam if I just want to wear color contact lenses for fun?
